I love Sunday's! It's become my day to really connect with Cheryle and a power greater than myself....my GOD! It's my day to praise & worship with like minded people that don't mind waving their hand or saying "thank you" Lord for all you've done for me. I love my little community baptist church down the street from my small studio apartment. It's where I go to get re-booted and replenished to make it through another week that promises to be filled with life's ups & downs. I need the inspiration I get from fellowship & praising God gives me. God fills me with so much LOVE, MERCY & GRACE like the world never has or ever will.
Drugs, alcohol, unhealthy sexual relationships, binge shopping, over eating, over doing all the things I use to do to fill my little hurting soul, I no longer feel the need to do because God helped me get me in line with my purpose. I'm 48 years old and I'm just now getting the hang of this thing called "life on life's terms"! Wow and thank you sweet Jesus not a moment to late. I'm still alive!
God saw the best in me when everyone else around saw the worse, and thank you Marvin Sapp for putting those perfect words in a beautiful song for all of us that need to know we are loved by God.
To end, the point is simply this....we are made for God, by God and until we figure that out, life isn't going to make any sense and don't I know this is the truth! I finally got a taste of that peace that surpasses all understanding and I will never let another person ABUSE me in any form! I can stand tall because I got GOD!
